Download the Malaysian Bar Mobile App Today!

The Bar Council is proud to announce the launch of the first-ever mobile application (“mobile app”) for the Malaysian Bar.

The mobile app is available for both iOS and Android devices, and can already be downloaded from the Apple Store (click here) and from Google Play (click here) at no charge.  You can also go to the Apple Store (for iOS users) or to Google Play (for Android users) on your device, and do a search using the term “Malaysian Bar”.

The salient and handy features of the mobile app currently include:

(1) resources tailored to Members’ professional needs and interests, such as Bar Council circulars, notifications, articles and useful links;

(2) contact information of law firms, with functions for “Call”, “Email” and “GPS-Enabled Directions”;

(3) a searchable listing of job vacancies advertised through the Malaysian Bar website, which number an average of 27 postings each week;

(4) information and features relating to the Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) Scheme; and

(5) a newsfeed of items from the Malaysian Bar website;

More features and functions — particularly those geared towards Members — will be added as the development of the mobile app progresses.

Some sections and features in the mobile app are only accessible to Members who are registered users of the Malaysian Bar website, and who log in using the same username and password as for the website.
