Vacancy: Executive Secretary to the Malacca Bar

Ms. Naziatul Azida, who joined the Malacca Bar as the Executive Secretary on 13 March 2022, has tendered her notice of resignation effective 31 December 2022 via a letter dated 31 October 2022. The Malacca Bar is grateful and thankful for all that she has done for us since March 2022.

To ensure a smooth transition and continuity of service, the Malacca Bar Committee is seeking a suitable replacement to take up the role as Executive Secretary to the Malacca Bar. Candidates should possess the following criteria:-

  1. At least five years of experience in administrative work.
  2. Able to operate and use computers.
  3. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  4. Able to work effectively and professionally with members of the Bar, government departments, private institutions and members of the public.
  5. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbally and in writing. Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  6. Must have the ability to maintain an accurate and complete filing system and accounts. Knowledge of internet banking and its procedures will be a factor to be considered.
